My name is Levi Storks. I have been fascinated by animals all my life. Unlike other children, though, I would have rather been outside catching frogs and toads than inside with my pet hamster or rabbit. I have always been especially fond of the non-furry animals, the reptiles and amphibians. I guess it is just their ancient evolutionary history that has always interested me. As I kept acquiring more and more animals, my collection expanded, and so did my knowledge. I now have many different species, common and uncommon, and am now embarking on my first breeding project. I have compiled as much information as I could on Your Everyday Reptile so that hopefully you can acquire the same love for reptiles and amphibians I have.
The reptiles and amphibians, collectively referred to as herptiles, are commonly misunderstood, and this instills in people a horrible fear of them. In reality, peoples' misconceptions regarding herptiles are quite ill-founded. Herptiles are not creepy, slimy animals, as commonly thought. These misconceptions are mainly due to people being uninformed. This is the main reason I have made Your Everyday Reptile: to inform people. I wish to inform people about how to properly care for these living, breathing, feeling animals that have been around much longer than our species has. I wish to stop the inappropriate treatment these animals get that is just passed off because they supposedly don't "feel" that same way as dogs and cats do. This is all just a result of widespread ignorance. With Your Everyday Reptile I hope to remedy some of this ignorance, even if it is only a little bit.
